One of the things I’ve always wanted to do is buy an old house and renovate it. There is just something appealing about the idea of taking an old, beat up house and transforming it into a warm, beautiful place to live. Maybe it’s because I believe in second chances; that even something as innocuous as a dilapidated house deserves a second time around the block. Whenever I do get around to trying my hand at house flipping, I want to have a pool installed. If I happen to pick a house in Arizona, then I plan to check out Shasta Pools.

Looking at their website, Shasta Pools seems to offer an assortment of pool styles from your basic rectangle to a more elaborate and designer shape. Since I love stuff that is unique, I would definitely want something that had some style and character to it. Yeah, rectangular pools are nice if you like to swim laps but come on. For parties and other entertainment opportunities, a tear dropped shaped pool or one with a cascading water fall would be much more impressive.

Shasta Pools also design spas which I think is great. I think having one would increase the value of the home. Who wouldn’t want to come home after a long day and let the hot water of the spa melt away stress? Add a glass of wine and maybe a special friend and you’ve got the perfect recipe for relaxation.

So, I’m going to start looking at the real estate market and see what’s out there. In this volatile economy, I’m pretty sure I can get a great deal on a worthwhile project that could end up being a source of monthly rental income.
